William Hale

Will was born September 20, 1983. He died Wednesday September 27 in Lake Charles.

Some would say it is hard to love an addict. I wouldn’t say that. It was very hard to live with one. Pain, sorrow and fear are constant companions. We worry not only for our loved one’s poor choices, but also anyone affected by those choices. In no way did those choices diminish our love for him.

He is survived by his son, Brenden James Hale; Brenden’s mother, Sherry; one brother, Michael Scott Hale; sister, Laura Beth Stacy; mother, Mary Claire Pugh; paternal grandmother, Lynn Hale; aunts; uncles; and cousins.

Preceding him in death is his father, David Gregory Hale; maternal grandparents, Henry and Peggy Pugh; and paternal grandfather, William Hale.

We love him and we are heartbroken he was unable to find his way.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
