William Ovid Anderson

William Ovid "Bill" Anderson, 55, of Lake Charles, LA died at 6:58 PM on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in his residence. Mr. Anderson was born March 20, 1959 in Lake Charles, LA, where he was a life-long resident. He was a graduate of Barbe High School and retired from the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #106. He was a member of the University United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing golf. Mr. Anderson is survived by his mother, Ruth Edwina "Pud" Anderson; sisters, Delia Susan Anderson and husband Robert Weiss and Kathryn Brooks Anderson; brother, James Ralph Anderson, Jr.; nephew, Michael Anderson and wife Kristin; niece, Melissa Anderson Bruno; and great-nephews, Dominic Bruno and Miles Anderson. He was preceded in death by his father, James Ralph Anderson. His memorial service will be held 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Charlie Langford will officiate. A gathering of family members and friends will be held on Saturday from 12:00 PM until the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lake Charles Memorial Hospital Rehab Unit.
