William Robert "Bill" Humphrey

William "Bill" Humphrey, 57, of Lake Charles, died Tuesday August 25, 2015 at a local hospital with his family at his side following an extended illness. Bill was a native of San Angelo, Texas and resident of Lake Charles for the past eight years. He was in the automotive service business and was the General Manager for Don's Car Wash and Quick Lube Centers in Lake Charles. He was a faithful member of Sale Street Baptist Church. Preceding Bill in death are his father, William Lewis Humphrey and nephew Travis Blake Humphrey. He leaves to honor and cherish his memory his beloved wife of 35 years, Kathy Ball Humphrey, Lake Charles; daughters, Heather Humphrey and Holly Martin (Chase), both of Houston; son, Brent Humphrey, Houston; grandchildren, Faith and Hope Martin, Houston; mother, Barbara Humphrey, Houston; brothers, Michael Humphrey (Nelly), Russia and Mark Humphrey (Doris), Austin; sisters, Cathy De La Torre and Barbara Humphrey, both of Houston; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday August 30, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. A Celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev.
