William "Bill" Huggs, 69 of Sulphur passed away on November 9, 2014 in his residence. He was born in Texarkana, AR and lived in Sulphur for the past 34 years. Bill was a graduate of Camden High School in 1962 and served in the U S Navy during the Vietnam era "Bay of Pigs". Bill was retired from Sunbelt Rentals and was also a self employed mechanic. He was the owner of Bills Outboard Motors for 25 years, worked on antique outboard motors and loved to spend time working on his boats. Bill was a member of Central Baptist Church. He loved to fish, tell jokes and make people laugh, and spend time at home with his family. Bill is survived by his wife of 36 years, Wanda O'Neal Huggs of Sulphur; five daughters, Maureen Harrison of Auburndale, FL, Lisa Howard and husband Bo, Renee Rice and husband, Bill all of Crossett, AR, Christi and husband, Harry Fontenot of Carlyss, and Angela Heape and husband, Norris of Conroe, TX; 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and a sister, JoEllen Dean and husband Buddy of Crossett, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Edna Huggs. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 11 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Trahan officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 3-9 P.M. at the funeral home and will resume on Thursday at 9 A.M. until time of the service.
