Willie Clayton Alger, Jr.

Willie Clayton Alger, Jr., 62, of Ragley, LA died at 6:30 AM on Friday, February 17, 2012 in his residence.

Willie was born July 14, 1949 in Monroe, LA, where he lived most of his life until moving to Ragley two years ago. He was a previous member of Soul's Harbor Pentecostal Church in West Monroe and New Life Pentecostal Church in Ragley, LA. He enjoyed playing Dominoes, riding, and going outdoors and loved all holidays.

Willie is survived by his mother, Jessie Babcock Alger of Ragley; siblings, Delane Ewing and husband Derwin of Pineville, LA, Patrick Alger in Pennsylvania formerly of West Monroe, LA, and Patricia Touchstone and husband Grady Danny Touchstone of Ragley; along with seven nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by father, Willie Clayton Alger, Sr.

His funeral will be 2:00 PM on Monday, February 20, 2012 at Old Union Cemetery in Grayson, LA under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Brother Glenn Cooley will officiate. Visitation will be at Soul's Harbor Pentecostal Church in West Monroe on Monday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
