Willie Mary Holland

Willie Mary Holland, 77, of Iowa passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 in her residence. Mrs. Holland was born on March 20, 1938 in Gueydan, LA and lived in Iowa for over 20 years. She retired from Jeff Davis Bank in maintenance after 16 years. Mrs. Holland was of the Catholic faith. She dedicated her life solely to her family, especially her four boys. Mrs. Holland adored her furry friends, Callie and Bella. Those left to cherish her memory are four sons, Keith Holland of Jennings, Sherwin Holland and wife Nikki, Sheldon Holland and wife Terri, and Sherman Holland all of Ragley; a sister, Rita Guillory of Bell City; four brothers, Leo J. Guidry and wife Lucy, George Guidry and wife Alice, Rodney Guidry, and Paul "Tee" Guidry all of Bell City; eleven grandchildren, Brandon, Devin, Tallen, Tanner, Shea, and Stephen Holland, Kendra South, Kreston and Kyle Holland, Sabre "Sweet Pea" Savage, and Hannah Holland; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rolland Lee Holland; parents, Luah and Alice Lavilotte Guidry; a sister, Irene "Toute" G. Miller; and two brothers, Joseph "Bee" and Ivan Guidry. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 29, 2015 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Glenn Ducharme will officiate. A committal service will follow in DeRouen-Lorraine Cemetery in Hayes. A gathering of family and friends will begin on Friday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
