Willie Paul "PeeWee" OQuain, Jr.

It’s with great sorrow that we share the passing of Willie Paul “Peewee” O’Quain, Jr., who left us too soon on December 16, 2024, at the age of 65. He went peacefully in his sleep. As he wished, his body was donated to science so he will continue to be of service to the community after his passing.

 He was a jack of all trades and a master of more, inventor and entrepreneur at heart. He never met a stranger. To know him was to love him. He would tell a story to anyone that would lend an ear and could fix anything with a motor. His greatest passion was spending time with his kids, grandkids, and adoring his high school sweetheart and wife of 48 years.

 He is survived by his wife Tammy O’Quain, daughter Nikka LeBeouf and her husband, Heath LeBeouf, and their children Luke and Zach LeBeouf; daughter, Kattie Hermann and her husband, Josh Hermann, and their children Zoe and Jax Hermann; daughter, Hallie Ely and husband, Scotty Ely, and their children Rylin, Wesley, and Phillip; two sons, Chance O’Quain, and Dillon O’Quain and his fiancé, Grace Miller; and two sisters, Betty Ann McClinden and Darlene Monceaux. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie O’Quain; and his mother, Goldie Marie O’Quain.

The family will host a gathering to celebrate PeeWee’s life on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 4PM to 9PM at West Cal Event Center, 401 Arena Road, Sulphur, LA.
