Willis "Billy" Duhon

Willis L. Billy Duhon, 75, passed away on October 9, 2013, at home with his family at his side. Billy was a native of Sulphur, LA and a graduate of Sulphur High School. He served his country in the United States Army for four years. In May, 1998, he retired from Conoco after 38 years of employment. His family was his lifelong devotion. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 54 years, Jewell Kerr Duhon; 2 sons, Terry D. Duhon and wife, Roxanne and Cary E. Duhon and wife, Michelle; daughter, Melissa D. Barrilleaux and husband, Chester; 8 grandchildren, Nicholas, Toby, Tiffany, Dustin, Zachary, Aleks, Hunter and Tucker; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters-in-law, Marta Duhon of Cuero, TX, Ann Young of Poteau, OK, Lanelle Stiles and husband, Gene of Fort Smith, AR and Mary Schuster and husband, Bill of Fort Smith, AR; brother-in-law, Doyle Kerr and wife, Kathryn of Sperry, OK and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.D. and Mary Ida Pud Duhon of Sulphur; brother, Dr. A.D. Duhon, Jr. of Cuero, TX; brother-in-law, Floyd Young of Arkoma, OK and 1 great-grandchild. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 4-9 p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home and will resume on Saturday at 9 a.m. until time of the service. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Rev. Don Duplechin officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Sulphur, LA. The family would like to thank Dr. Brian Gamborg and Brighton Bridge Hospice for their compassion, kindness and care during his time of need.
