Willow Lou Burnett Reeves

Willow Lou Burnett Reeves, 73, of Reeves, LA died at 1:46 PM on Friday, December 2, 2011 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Reeves was born January 7, 1938 in Longville, LA and has lived in the Longville / Reeves area for all of her life. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Ragley, LA. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and was always there to support her family.

Mrs. Reeves is survived by her children, Calvin Reeves and wife Zell of Reeves, LA, Larry Reeves and wife Katy of DeRidder, LA, Cindy Reeves and companion Wayne Fontenot of Reeves, LA, Paula Billiot and husband Brian of Reeves, LA, and Sharon Lynn Chaumont and husband Andre' of Ragley, LA; sister, Martha Whittington of Longville, LA; brother, Landry "Red" Burnett of Ragley; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Queenie.

She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Oscar Reeves; grandchild, Oscar Bourque; and many other loved ones.

Her funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the Creel Memorial Chapel under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Reverends Bill Smith and Kelly Craft will officiate. Burial will follow in Creel Memorial Gardens in Bel, LA. Visitation will be at Creel Chapel from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Monday and continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
