Wilton Vernon Fruge, Jr.

Wilton Vernon Fruge, Jr. 69, of Sulphur, LA passed away on October 10, 2020. Wilton was born on May 12, 1951 in Mamou, LA to Wilton and Dorothy Fruge. Wilton was known for enjoying time with friends and family, especially his brothers. He enjoyed fishing, paint and body work and reading his bible. Wilton was honored and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Those left to cherish his memory are his four children, Bill Schnepp, Willie Labbe, Tony Fruge, and Constance Ashay; three granddaughters; one grandson; two brothers, and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Rev. Marcus Wade officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. until time of service on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
