Windy Marie Hinman

Windy had many loves in her life. Her life with Leland was spent camping, riding their Harley, sailing, time at the beach, but their children and grandchildren were her biggest love. She let go of all her pain and went on to her reward with her family around her on Tuesday, January 14, 2020.

Windy was born on February 17, 1972, in Jackson, Mississippi. Her family left Mississippi and moved to Louisiana. She graduated from Westlake High School. She loved to cook and made it her chosen profession.

She formed a family with Leland 14 years ago with 4 children and 10 grandchildren. Her biggest concern is that the grandchildren will forget her. Leland plans to share photos of her for all of them to have to include in their everyday lives.

Windy is preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Patricia Hamilton and Thomas Cooley of Jackson Mississippi.

She is survived by her Cooley siblings Becky, Renee, Brenda and Tommy; her Hamilton siblings Susan, Claire, Barry, and Bobby; and her brother from another mother Mark; daughters Courtney and Tyler Dydasco, Brandi and Matt Harris, Brittani and Kenneth Crosby; son Leland and Alyssa Hinman; grandchildren Gavin, Tyler, Jaidyn, Ryder, Jaxson, Kayson, Ashlynn, Trey, Miah, and Zane. She loved all her family in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. She dearly loved all things family.

They plan to celebrate her life daily, but with plans to get together on Sunday, February 16^th out at their property.
