Winfred “Wimp” Ray Ardoin, 59, of Sulphur passed away on May 16, 2017 in a local hospital. He enjoyed gardening, motorcycles, working with his flowers, cooking, especially boiling crawfish and bar-b-ques. Wimp was known for his hospitality and spending time with his family and friends.
Wimp is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Sharon Ardoin of Sulphur; three children, Audie Angelic Guidry and husband Lane, Jessica Marie Forman and husband Damon, and Aaron Lee Ardoin; 6 grandchildren, Blake Perkins, Brett Perkins, Skyla Forman, Logan Forman, Dalton Guidry, and Mason Guidry; his favorite dog, “Snoopy”; mother, Betty Jean Ardoin; siblings, Joann Singleton, Danny Ardoin, Pat Ardoin, Barbara Ardoin, and Ricky Ardoin; He was preceded in death by his father, Esley Joseph Ardoin; uncle and aunts.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 10 A.M. with Blake Forman officiating at Johnson Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 3-8 P.M. with a rosary at 6 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with visitation continuing on Saturday, May 20 at 8 A.M. until time of the service.Visits: 7
