Winnie Marie Cormier

Winnie Marie Cormier, 85, of Sulphur passed away on December 21, 2017 in her residence. She was a native of Bosco, LA and lived in Vinton most of her life, recently moving to Sulphur three years ago.

Winnie is survived by her son, Jimmie Lee Cormier and wife Diane of Sulphur; 4 grandchildren, Brandon Cormier (Heather), Brandy Cormier (Clint), Bridgett Cormier (Tommy), and Bryan Cormier (Lilly); 14 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, 8 sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claudy Joseph Cormier; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 3 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Avera officiating. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 23, from 9 A.M. until time of the service at the funeral home with a rosary being said during the visitation.
