Wynnefred Terry Vincent

Wynnefred Terry Vincent, 76, of Hemphill, TX died at 10:15 PM on Saturday, September 4, 2010 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Vincent was born on April 10, 1934 in Almont, MI and lived in the Lake Charles/Sulphur area until moving to Hemphill, TX in the early 1980's. She also spent a great amount of time at their second home in Oscoda, MI. Mrs. Vincent was a graduate of Oxford High School in Michigan. She proudly served in the U.S. Air Force.

She was a dedicated member of the Word of Truth Church in Many, LA.

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter and her husband, Lenette Vincent Louviere and Richard of Lake Charles; four sons and their wives, Paul K. Vincent, Jr. and Jocelyn E. of Bacliff, TX, Phillip K. Vincent and LaVita of Daegu, Korea, Patrick K. Vincent and Marina of Magnolia, TX, and Peter K. Vincent and Lena of Sulphur; one sister, Sylvia E. Terry of Hemphill, TX; one brother and his wife, Lynn M. Terry and Irene of Portsmouth, VA; fourteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul K. Vincent, Sr. and her parents, Loretha and Hiram Terry.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Word of Truth Church at 2252 Texas Hwy in Many, LA. Burial will follow at Isaac Low Cemetery at El Camino Bay in Hemphill, TX under the direction of Roseneath Funeral Home. Visiation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM in the funeral home. Arrangements in Lake Charles are being entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
