Yvonne Marie Theriot

Yvonne Marie Theriot, 73, of Lake Charles died at 7:45 PM on Monday, August 16, 2010 at Lafayette General Hospital.

Mrs. Theriot lived in Lake Charles for most of her life where she was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.

She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was known for always helping others. She was willing to give to anyone and was always there with a helping hand. Mrs. Theriot adored her children and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Delores Alaniz of Lake Charles, Charles Miller and wife Debbie of Lake Charles, Anthony Lynn Miller and wife Mary of Iowa, and a beloved daughter, Carolyn Miller of Lake Charles; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and her siblings, Delta Walker, Della Rhodes, Harry Thibodeaux, Sr., and Faye Howell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Theriot.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 20, 2010 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Glenn Viau will officiate. Burial will be in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Cursillo Rosary being held at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until time of services.
