Johnny Granger

July 29, 1956 — March 11, 2021

John Lee Granger, 64, of Sweetlake passed away peacefully on March 11, 2021, with his family at his side.

John was a native and lifelong resident of the Grangerville community of Sweetlake. He enjoyed a passion for guns, deer and duck hunting as well as fishing and being with family. Before he retired, John worked as a crane operator and truck driver.  He was a member of the St. Patrick Chapel in Sweetlake.

Preceding John in death are his parents, John Clairville and Enola Romero Granger, and a sister, Bonnie Granger. He leaves to mourn his loss and cherish his memories, beloved wife of 39 years, Susan Hoffpauir; son, Michael Shawn Granger (Allison); grandsons Michael Cayd Granger (Miranda), Tanner-Michael James Granger; Levi Joseph Monceaux and Hayden Lane Monceaux; great grandson, Liam Michael Granger; God children, Alden Scott Harrington, Haylee Ogea Mock and Andrew Smith; brothers, Thomas Lynn Granger (Linda) and Byran Anthony Granger (Janet)and sister, Debra Ann Ogea (John); Delores Ann Aguillard (Kevin) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and  four legged partner in crime Pettey Granger.

The family is having a private memorial service at Grangerville Cemetery in Sweetlake. Arrangements have been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
