Kobe Crowell

Kobe Crowell, 32, passed away in a local hospital on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.

He was born on February 14, 1989 in Lake Charles, LA to Kasey and Janice Crowell.

He will be remembered for the love he had for the Lord, his infectious laugh, and his servant’s heart. Kobe loved muscle cars, watching movies, The Dukes of Hazard, and the New Orleans Saints. He was very polite and kind and enjoyed playing in the pool with his beloved dog “Slugger.”

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Kasey and Janice Crowell; sister, Kara Brown (Sean); paternal grandmother, Colleen Crowell; maternal grandparents, Barney and Eileen Tyson; a host of other family members and friends; and beloved dog, “Slugger.”

He was preceded in death by his sister, Kasey Sue Crowell; brother, Kory Crowell; paternal grandfather, Robert Crowell; and uncle, Mike Tyson.

His funeral service will be held Friday, August 6, 2021 at 2 p.m. at University Baptist Church under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Consolata Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held at the church Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the start of the service.
